CWA 7901 is located in Portland, Oregon and represents over 1,000 members who work in private and public union sectors. The Local bargains contracts for its members with over 13 companies in the telecommunications, printing & publishing, and public union representatives fields. These members live and work in SW Washington and throughout the state of Oregon.
The over 1,000 members enjoy the advantages of having union representation with better wages, improved benefits and fairness in their workplace over non-union workers.
If you are a member, your Union needs you! Volunteer for a committee or to help with specific projects or become a steward. Now is an exciting time in the labor movement. We are working to retain jobs in our communities. We are educating each other on labor issues including diversity, safety, and standing up for our rights as workers and human beings.
We intend to extend our rights—the right to organize is a Human Right according to the United Nations, celebrated every year on December 10. It is the right that allows us to advocate for better working conditions, wages and benefits that will provide for a better future for our families.
